What is SCOBY?

SCOBY stands for Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast. It is not a mushroom. It is the real boss of fermentation: it turns sweetened tea into kombucha and helps create the taste and bubbles.

How do you make kombucha?

We prepare a base of tea leaves, add sugar, and let the SCOBY do its work. During fermentation, live microorganisms transform the sweetened tea into beneficial substances, developing kombucha's characteristic taste. Then we can it and… Kombuciao!

What does Kombuciao contain?

Tea leaves, water, sugar needed for fermentation, kombucha cultures (SCOBY), and natural ingredients that create the different flavors. Zero gluten, zero artificial sweeteners, zero mysterious ingredients.

Why is there sugar in kombucha?

Plot twist: sugar is primarily the fuel for the SCOBY. During fermentation, it is transformed by microorganisms. Each can of Kombuciao contains [2.7g of sugar per 100ml].

Does Kombuciao contain artificial sweeteners?

No. Its slight sweetness comes from the natural ingredients in the recipe, with no artificial sweeteners. Just real taste, zero fake vibes.

Kombuciao is non-alcoholic. Like all kombucha, it may contain trace amounts of alcohol naturally produced during fermentation—well below the legal limit for non-alcoholic beverages.
